Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the owner of the Filmimiz service ("Filmimiz", "we"). By creating a free preview or placing an order, you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Revisions, remakes and refunds policy and How we use AI.

Buyer means the person who orders and pays for the film. Recipient means the person the film is made for.

1. What we do

Filmimiz makes a personalised digital gift: a short, stylised animated film about the real story of two people, the buyer and the recipient. We make it from your answers and photos and deliver it on a private reveal page. You send the link to the recipient yourself, for example on WhatsApp.

Filmimiz is digital only. We do not make, print or ship physical products.

Packages:

• Qısa: about 30 seconds, 3 scenes, narration, 4 real photos in the finale.
• Film: about 60 seconds, 6 scenes, narration in Azerbaijani or Russian (English available), 6–8 real photos in the finale, a letter on the reveal page.
• Premium: about 2 minutes, 12 scenes, narration in your own recorded voice or premium narration, 12–15 real photos and a photo gallery, 2 revision rounds. Ready on the day of the order; Express does not apply to this package.
• Proposal: about 90 seconds, 7 scenes, vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) versions, the final question can be recorded in your own voice, 2 revision rounds. Express does not apply to this package.
• Signature: an interactive story website built by hand by our team, with its 2-minute film included.

The exact contents of each package and add-on are shown on the website before you pay.

2. Who can use Filmimiz

• You must be 18 or older.
• You need a Google or email account.
• Everyone in the photos must be a living adult (18 or older).

3. What you confirm when you order

• You are 18 or older.
• You appear in the film yourself, together with the recipient.
• You have the right to use the photos you upload.
• You believe the recipient would welcome a private film about the two of you.
• You will not publish the film, or let anyone else publish it, without the recipient's consent.

We store your confirmation together with the order.

4. What is not allowed

• Photos of anyone under 18, even in the background. Photos with children are rejected.
• Public figures or celebrities, unless they have given written consent.
• People who have died. We do not offer memorial films.
• Sexual, explicit or nude content.
• Violent, hateful, humiliating or defamatory content, or content meant to deceive or harass anyone.
• Using the film for advertising or any other commercial purpose.

We may refuse or stop an order that breaks these rules. If we refuse an order after you have paid, we refund the full amount.

5. Free preview

• The preview is free and is usually ready in about 3 minutes, at any time of day.
• It includes stylised portraits of the two of you (2 options each), a short story outline you can edit, a watermarked poster and a 10-second narrated title line (so you can check how the names sound).
• You get 1 free re-roll of the portraits.
• Limits: up to 2 free previews per day and 5 per month, per account and per device. After 3 previews without an order, you need to wait a while before the next one.
• The preview poster is for personal viewing only.

6. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Azerbaijani manat (AZN) and are shown on the website before you pay. The price shown at the moment of payment applies to your order.
• Add-ons (for example, Express — for Qısa and Film only — or an extra language version) are shown with their prices before you pay.
• A sequel with the same approved characters ("Next chapter") has a flat price: 19 AZN.
• During the soft launch we accept payment by card-to-card transfer. Your order page shows the card number and the exact amount for this order (to the qəpik). After the transfer you upload a screenshot of the receipt on the same page.
• A member of our team checks the payment in the banking app and confirms it by hand; a receipt screenshot alone does not count as confirmation. You can see the payment status on your order page.
• We never see or store your card details.
• We start making the film once the payment is confirmed.

7. Delivery times

• Working hours: every day, 10:00–23:00 Baku time.
• All packages: within 24 hours of the payment being confirmed; usually the same day within working hours. If you record your own voice, the time starts when you submit the recording.
• Express (add-on for Qısa and Film only): within 1 hour, within working hours. Express orders are accepted until 21:30.
• Peak days (13–14 February, 6–8 March): we take pre-orders that unlock on a countdown, work 09:00–01:00 and may limit the number of Express orders per day.
• We deliver the reveal link to your order page and by WhatsApp or email. You decide when to send it to the recipient.

8. Hosting, downloads and deletion

• The reveal page and the film stay online for 12 months after delivery.
• HD downloads are included: Qısa in 9:16; Film and Premium in 9:16 and 16:9, plus a poster image. Download your copy within these 12 months.
• The recipient can download the film only if you allow it.
• The recipient can delete the film at any time. Deletion is permanent, and we cannot restore the film.

9. Changes, remakes and refunds

Our promise: "Doesn't look like you? You don't pay." In short:

• Before payment, the preview is free, with 1 free portrait re-roll. You approve the characters and the story outline before you pay.
• After payment, Film includes 1 free scene regeneration; Premium and Proposal include 2 revision rounds.
• Defects (likeness, visual artefacts, a mispronounced name) are fixed, or the film is remade, for free.
• If the film cannot be fixed within 2 attempts, you get a full refund, no questions asked.
• New content after approval (a new story or new photos) is a new order at the Next chapter price (19 AZN).
• We refund by hand to the card the payment came from, within 3 working days.

The full rules are in the Revisions, remakes and refunds policy. It is part of these terms and says the same thing.

10. Rights to the film

• Your photos and texts remain yours. You allow us to use them only to make, check and deliver your film.
• We give you and the recipient a personal, non-exclusive licence to watch the film, keep it and share it privately. Sharing it publicly requires the recipient's consent.
• The film may not be used for advertising, resold or used for any other commercial purpose. The music is licensed only as part of the film and may not be used separately.
• We keep all rights in our templates, styles, software and brand.
• We never use your film or a reaction in ads or on our website without separate written consent from both people.

11. AI and labelling

We make the film with the help of AI, and a person checks every film. AI never alters your real photos. Every film ends with a "Made with AI" credit in the language of the film (in Azerbaijani, "AI ilə hazırlanıb"), and the file carries an "AI-generated" metadata tag. Azerbaijani law requires AI-made content to be clearly labelled when it is shown publicly. If you share the film publicly, do not remove or hide the credit. Read more in How we use AI.

12. Limits of our liability

• The film is a stylised animated interpretation of your story, not an exact copy of how you look. Likeness problems are handled under section 9.
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, such as internet, WhatsApp or payment system outages.
• We are not responsible if you or others share the reveal link or the film with people you did not intend.
• You are responsible for the photos and information you upload and for the confirmations in section 3.
• Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the consumer protection laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. If something goes wrong, please contact us first and we will try to solve it quickly. If we cannot agree, the dispute will be decided by the competent court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

14. Changes to these terms

We publish every new version here with a new date. The version in force when you paid applies to your order.
